Local by default

Zypher Agent runs on your machine. Claude Desktop connects over MCP on stdio, and your own code connects over REST. It never holds your own key.

    Tiered Tools

    Seventeen tools in three tiers: twelve read and analyse, four prepare and simulate, and one executes by confirmation id.

    MCP Stdio

    Run npm run mcp and add one mcpServers entry to Claude Desktop, launched through npx tsx.

    REST Bridge

    GET /api/health, /api/status, /api/tools and /api/audit, and POST /api/tools/:name with an x-api-key header.

Two interfaces

MCP serves agents such as Claude Desktop. REST serves your own applications.

  • MCP. Stdio for desktop agents

    The server speaks MCP over stdio. Claude Desktop starts it with npx tsx, reading the same tools, policy and audit log that every other client uses.

  • REST. HTTP for your own code

    A local HTTP bridge exposes the same tools. Send POST /api/tools/:name with your x-api-key header and every call is audited.
